DESCRIPTION:Day of Caring is a one-day\, county-wide day of volunteering. Traditionally\, each year\, United Way of Kitsap County recruits and coordinates 400+ volunteers for a one-day community-wide volunteer blitz. Individuals are matched with local non-profit and park organizations to accomplish minor and major renovations\, such as painting\, cleaning\, landscape work\, trail maintenance\, garden prep\, and much more.
