The primary responsibility of a project manager is to get the project built on time and on budget while leaving the customer with a smile on their face. To accomplish those goals, a residential construction project manager, for example, will need to plan and manage the construction of homes, apartment complexes or duplexes, which requires rigorous training in leadership and project planning. The course explains the role of project managers during each phase of a project, including the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. Project management tools and effective management of trade contractors will also be discussed.
