Economic Summit with Guest Speaker Danushka Nanayakkara-Skillington
Presented by the Kitsap Building Association
We are excited to announce that Danushka Nanayakkara-Skillington, Assistant Vice President for Forecasting and Analysis at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), will be our featured guest speaker at an upcoming event.
In her role, Danushka leads the Forecasting & Analysis section within NAHB’s Economics group. She oversees critical areas such as housing market analysis, industry surveys, and the development of national, regional, and long-term forecasts, including remodeling expenditures. Her insights provide invaluable guidance on the trends shaping the housing and construction industries.
Before stepping into her current role, Danushka served as a Senior Economist at NAHB, specializing in state and local market analysis. Her extensive experience also includes time as a Senior Economic Analyst in the automotive industry with J.D. Power.
Danushka’s expertise extends beyond NAHB, as she is a member of the Joint Advisory Board of Economists for the Commonwealth of Virginia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Otterbein University and a master’s degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University.
Don't miss this opportunity to gain exclusive insights into the housing market and economic trends directly from one of the industry's foremost experts.
